Wooden Stool, like its name suggests, is a wooden stool with one interesting twist, the seat is flexible. This flexibility is achieved by cutting slats into small pieces that have a drilled hole in the center, through which an elastic is passed.
Wooden Stool is a design by Ewa Dulcet, a Polish design student, and it’s made out of 20 x 20 pine slats and elastic.
It looks like an interesting experiment, but the fact that there are no pictures depicting its use as a stool, that is, there’s no one seating on the stool, poses some questions:
-Would the elastic be able to hold the complete weight of a person without consequences for the stool?
-Is it comfortable to use as a stool?
